Commercials use a LOT more new wave and punk than they use the stuff that was really commercial back then. It's like Blondie and the Buzzcocks ruled the world, and nobody really listened to Toto or Journey.<BR/><BR/> That said, people have forgotten about The Jam except maybe for "A Town Called Malice", which has a great hook played on the organ.
