Hey Kids: Not Really Friday Red Mr. Peanut Bank and Gallito Mescalito Blogging

Hey everybody! We've spent most of June and July in the Trinity Alps, without internet access. Many photos were taken for future Red Mr. Peanut Bank and Gallito Mescalito episodes, but we've just arrived in Fresno and are recovering from a Very Long Drive. So we're just checking in tonight.

We are slowly wending our way south, and will be back in Panama by August 11, when our Regular Friday Series will be reinstated.

Here's the gang at the creek, plotting some terrible action.

Oh yeah: here's Miss Bebé in the mountains, eating up all the grapes!

Met your bishop at General Convention - he had good things to say about you as did we.

What ¨he¨ Bishop...I thought you had a ¨she¨ Bishop...have there been developments? Is there crossdressing amongst the HOB´s?

I´ve cleaned up Central America for you...however, no doubt you´ll need to work your magic with Hugo and help the President of Honduras regain his attempt at Presidency for life...a job I decided not to take and he is obviously too weak to pull off.

All is well, we NEED YOU!

¡You have been out of touch for too long!

I am relieved to know that you all are OK. ¡I feared that Archdeacon hitmen from the Nigerian Orthodite Anglican Brotherhood may have gotten you!

Welcome back to the rat race.

Glad to see you back at your post. Our Southern borders are once again secure.

Or maybe South America is safe from a gringo invasion. I'm not sure which.

Whatever! we of the REAL Anglican (etc etc etc) church all feel safer, and may in fact objectively BE safer, when we know the whereabouts of our Padre and The Lovely Mona and our little band of roving bishops. So glad you have all been getting some alpine rest and recreation. The photo is gorgeous! It makes me feel vicariously rested and refreshed. Love and safe travels to you all.

PS Some people would feel 'over-bishopped' if they had two regular human ones like Padre Mickey, but this could hardly faze our Padre who has a whole stable of them in his own household.

Oh, MIckey, it's so good to have you, the lovely Mona and all the gang back again! I feel so much more secure and will definitely cease using my blankey tonight!

So happy to see that you have returned! Still remembering our great dinner in New Jersey on that wild rainy night. Safe trip back to Panama!

That little girl would eat up all the grapes and then pass out! Those mountains were a great time for her.

Padre, I sat next to your Panamanian bishop at one of the convention Eucharists. I tried to be helpful and filled him in about you. It turned out that there were a few things that he did not know. He seems a lovely man, so I expect you will be okay.

Padre Mickey said...

Gee, thanks, Grandmère Mimi! Maybe I should stay where I am.

June Butler said...

No, no, no, Padre! He still loves you.

"A few things he didn't know about you."

Would you like me to launch another fundraising campaign, Mickey? Just to tide you over until you get another job.
