Friday Random Top Ten
Ya pushes "shuffle" and ya takes yer chances. . .
1. Pink And Blue Outkast
2. Lady From The U.S.A. Bram Tchaikovsky
3. The First One Gary Valentine
4. A Dios Le Pido Juanes
5. Top Of The World Shonen Knife
6. Como Quisiera Las Plumas Negras
7. Laughing Blues The Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band
8. The Fiddling Ladies The Chieftains with Eileen Ivers, Natalie MacMaster, Máire Breatnach, and Annbjorg Lien
9. Tommy Gun The Clash
10. Tried To Hide The 13th Floor Elevators
I likes this list a lot! Track 2 is the whimpiest Bram Tchaikovsky song, but still good, and while Gary Valentine is whimpy power pop, he doesn't make me want to pull my ears off. I almost stopped after Juanes, but I'm glad I kept going, cuz that Shonen Knife Carpenter's cover is excellent. The Bonzo Dog Band songs contains one of the most painful violin solos ever heard. As far as the Chieftains and their friends are concerned, I'm wondering with what are the ladies fiddling? Clash and 13th Floor Elevator (just listen to that crazy jug-playing!)? Ya can't beat an ending like that!!!!
Here's Juanes, cuz they're not gonna play him on the stations you listen to.
Watchoo listenin' to?

Hey, I *know* that Juanes song!
Here's Juanes, cuz they're not gonna play him on the stations you listen to.
You do not usually do that Padre. That is a very Statesonian-centric statement. But thanks for the video. I like this song by Juanes.
Mine are done. That's the most links I've ever had. The usual weird combo. Temptimg to link to someone else's Poulenc but just can't since I sang with the Westminster Choir.
Come on, David; everyone knows you don't listen to anything except Show Tunes and bad Christian rock music. ;-)
Contempory Christian.
