They're Going Too Far

I believe in free speech, but I don't believe that people should be allowed to make physical threats to the President of any nation. The people who made these signs should be arrested and held for a few days. This crap's gotta stop. During the Dubya years one couldn't even have an anti-Bush bumper-sticker on a car in the parking lot of one of his phony Town Hall meetings without getting arrested.
Read about the Crazy Doughy People Protest here.

There is a positive side...all the sickest, greediest, most bigoted wackos in the United States have suddenly, since Rove, Bush, Rumsfeld and Cheney, have outed themselves! Yes, something that LGBT people have always known as we sat quietly (mostly) listening to their demented crap, we are hearing/seeing openly...we are dealing, and always have been, with very emotionally and spiritually sick feardriven fellow citizens.

To me they're the same kind of people who shot at Primado Martín. I'm hoping that everyone will finally tire of their hate and they will disappear into the dustbin of history, where they belong.

Maybe HCR will eventually pay for treatments for mental illness and they can get the help they need.

Who knows the motive and real thrust behind the attack of Primado Martin...very disturbing stuff that reoccurs often in the part of the hemishphere where we live (San Romero comes to mind)...last week the next pueblo buried a bus driver and his helper...shot in cold blood, while working and in front of a full busload of passangers on the chicken bus...busdriver and adjudante murders are over a hundred now and there is no end in sight...extortion, the ¨authorities¨ don´t know where to start (or simply can´t stop the blatant crimespree).

I think these teabaggers are a frightened greedy and murderous lot and the trigger they pull is the one that initiates violence, prejudice and hate (see your photo)...they are out in the open, ecourage others to spout off vile utterances and they have made it ok for the most morally bankrupt supremist to strut evil stuff in public...imagine the bloodshed that will follow, I can (of course the tea baggers will probably hide and smurk and say ¨I told you so¨ and blame their viciousness on the victim...cowards all).

Padre, Leonardo, I don't know your part of the world well, but I do know that these people are very scary.

Our representative, Scott Murphy was on the fence about health care, having voted no last time. The area in front of his office has been a war zone of Tea Party people and those who want health care reform. No one got hurt, but it got very ugly numerous times. This is in super-white-bread-middle-class-ville too.

These folks scare the crap out of me. I even see this on FB when the conversation gets going and on some blogs too.

It is creeping me out. Jesus, ten piedad.

I know, Fran. Very scary and the part that is most troubling is with so much negative/open passion it will be hard to tell where the outbursts, the dangerous ones, will come from...I certainly hope the FBI is keeping an eye on this developing free for all (and has good records on all those gunsales)...it´s explosive and the perps hate so many people and things they seem reckless to me...blind, empowered, slobbering animals who feel entitled to hate (whatever turns their stomach from the despised Liberals to the Pope)...they´ve snapped!

That someone went to the trouble of making the same sign at least twice and that they weren't publicly arrested makes me worry about what the marching orders are from the cops.

I went to anti-war rallies just before the invasion of Iraq and then after, run by the group ANSWER. The pre-war rallies were huge and lots of people came who weren't far left wing. The post-war rallies were much smaller and more polarized and I felt like I didn't belong.

Signs like that are really saying "You must be THIS crazy to hang out with us". Even with Fox News stirring them up 24/7, I don't think they can keep this level of anger up.

Sadly, I think it's going to take some act of murderous violence to take the steam out of this craziness.

We have people like this in England. We call them terrorists and we're fighting a war against them.

It could be a very hot summer if the weather is also hot. I'm not talking politics with any of my neighbors. I don't think we have any hotheads here and I'm glad I don't live in a city. I doubt we will get to the sort of violence that Central America and Mexico see because there isn't any money in it. But... We pray. Kyrie eleison.

I too hope the FBI is keeping an eye on those holding such hate-filled signs. It's frightening.

I See You!
