Yesterday afternoon the Episcopal Church Women of San Cristóbal and the Altar Guild put on a Easter Program on the patio of Instituto Episcopal San Cristóbal. We can't use our newly remodeled multi-purpose building yet as we are still waiting for the Inspectors to come (don't get me started on Panamanian bureaucracy!). As always, it was a fun show! My friend, Marcelino Marshall, an elder at Berean Seventh Day Adventist church (around the corner from San Cristóbal) served as Master of Ceremonies and sang Because He Lives. I gave the Invocation. The Praise Group Dancers of San Cristóbal performed two dances, and were followed by a skit about Mary and Martha. El Coro de los Jóvenes de San Cristóbal (under the direction of the Lovely Mona) performed Canta Aleluya and Cristo, Celebro Tu Victoria. Then the Gale family, performing as G Harmony sang two numbers. They are an a-capella group and are amazing. Then the Main Attraction: The Easter Hat Parade! featuring the women of the church modeling many wonderful hats and one young man modeling a snappy hat. Finally, Osiris Robinson sang two gospel songs, and Nicole Lavalas sang two pieces. Bishop Murray gave the benediction and we all headed home. Another wonderful evening with the people of Parroquia San Cristóbal.

We can't hear the musical service, but those were mighty fine hats!
