Today at the Cathedral of St. Luke

Today I participated in the service of the Blessing of the Holy Oils and Renewal of Ordination Vows at la Catedral de San Lucas. All the clergy take different parts: lectors, acolytes, crucifer and thurifer. I am always the thurifer, because the Bishop likes it when I do 360s with the thurible. The service is open to everyone, but usually just the staff of the Diocesan Center attend, and today wasn't any different in that regard.

When I got back to Parroquia San Cristóbal, the last class from Instituto Episcopal San Cristóbal were finishing up their Via Cruces service, so I poked my head from the sacristy and snapped a quick photo.

I was just telling some friends about the windows of St. Lukes - how it was so beautiful to look out at the beautiful trees during the service - and just like that you post photos of those very windows - Thanks Padre. Megan
