I think we like the same foods...
That looks good, but I have never seen anything called ramen outside of a styrofoam cup and I do not usually eat food that comes in a styrofoam cup.
But that looks like a savory broth, real vegetables and either slices of roast pork or beef. Oh, and of course the ramen noodles! In an honest to goodness real ceramic bowl with a spoon to match.
Another thing in common, Leonardo!
Well, David, you live in Mexico, and when you're not in Mexico you're in Texas, and neither place is much of a Ramen Place (neither is Panama). There are some great ramen houses in San Francisco, San Jose, and Berkeley California, and, of course, all through Tokyo. You have to be in a town which has a nihon-machi, or Japan Town. ¡Finda nihon-machi rapidamente! That was an example of Spanglishese, a new language I am creating.
Oh dear, Padre is speaking in tongues. Watch out for spittle-flecks and snakes any minute now.
A short lesson on how to eat the Ramen from Tampopo.
Ooh, that ramen looks so yummy.
I had a bowl of pho just yesterday! Not exactly the same, but mighty fine eatin'!
