Apparently the entertainment value of bad translations goes in both directions. Language Log has a recent piece on the 'Chinese' language sign for a ride at Coney Island, which helpfully advises Chinese visitors that 'pregnant women should not ride horseback' on the roller coaster.

Thanks for the link, Rick. It's good to know that English speakers can translate just as poorly.
