Book Meme

I confess. I was one of those kids who went to the library almost every Saturday and sat around the house reading while other kids were playing sports. But I’m not ashamed of my love of reading. When I was at CDSP I spent a lot of time in the GTU library, still one of my favorite places. I still keep about three books going at a time, and on my vacation I read a book a day, except for a couple really big books which took me two days. But I don’t read as much as I once did.

I saw this Book Meme over at Caminante's place.

To quote her: “What we have below is a list of the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing users.
Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, italicize the ones you started but didn't finish.”

I knew Madame Bovary personally. We played three handed Bridge with her nice neighbor...sometimes we shopped til she dropped...actually, there were a few other interesting momentos that can't be reported favorably...I ALWAYS thought I knew her better than she knew herself...I can't stand to think about the Squid INK dinner treat you mentioned recently...ink, any, lost it's appeal for me, in France, ages ago (I hate poached naked frog torsos too).
