Rantings and Ravings and the Occasional Sane Comment of a priest blogging from the Global Center. I have a camera and I'm not afraid to use it! Now with Lovely Mona!!
Once again, real life reveals itself to be as good or better than the movie...
Well, Mikey, you warm weather types might like to know that pretty well every kid in Winnipeg in the old days had had his tongue stuck to a piece of metal at least once in the course of his childhood. A few were rescued by their moms with a pitcher of hot water. Most of us 'real canajuns' just ripped it off and then treated all the blood as a war wound or to gross out the girls &c
I did a similar thing once. We had a fridge back before the frost free plastic lined ones of today. The freezer was thin aluminum. A layer of frost had collected on the top that looked a lot like the ice to make snow cones and I tried to lick it off. I got stuck, but my big brother was nearby to rescue my plight, however not until after calling everyone in the house to bring cameras and come see the stupid thing hermanito has done!
