Wednesday Miss Bebé, The World's Most Beautiful Granchile™ Blogging

In our family everyone learns to use ohashi, or chopsticks at an early age. Miss Bebé has decided to take on this family tradition. I don't think she quite understands the proper way to hold them, but she'll get it eventually.

Well, it looks as if some food got near her mouth, as well as everywhere else!

Our 3 year old WMBG learned to use chopsticks - the restaurant servers made her a pair with a little wad of napkin and a rubber band at the top.

Would it be cheating to get her a pair of the kids kind that are connected at the top?

Long chopsticks...very, very, elegant...no sense using short trainers when you are educating the table manners of a QUEEN!

We actually have a thang that can be placed on the top of any set of ohashi to make them trainers. They came with a shorter set.

She demands to use them, calling out "Hashi!" until we give her a set.

As you know, I'm not particularly child-friendly. But even this old grouch knows that making your grandchild eat her cocoa pops with a set of drumsticks is nothing short of premeditated cruelty. This poor child needs intervention.

You'll find a little something over at my blog this morning. (And it even mentions Miss Bebe.)

But Mad Priest, if the child thinks drumsticks are utensils for eating, I don't have to worry about her growing up to be a drummer.

I recently saw a pair of those kiddie chopsticks Susan S mentions - great invention, had never seen them before.

It could backfire, Padre. She could grow up to be a drummer who eats on the job.

Worse still, she could be playing in your band (it will be about the right time for you to be rediscovered).

I See You!
