A Message From The Management

Friday Red Mr. Peanut Bank and Gallito Mescalito Blogging will not be seen tonight so that we can bring you this NBC special in Living Colour because I am uninspired this evening. However, I should have something tomorrow.
In the mean time, please enjoy these album covers from Real Live Long Playing Records. The Management

This is for KJ!

And, of course, two of my All Time Favorites, which I can't show enough!

Oh, Baby! I NEEDS a Tijuana Picknick! Have I ever confessed that the first Pop Record I ever purchased (at age 12) was Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass? I know I'll pay for this with Mad Priest!

I wish MY hair looked like that! I wish I HAD hair on the top of my head!

You're not alone with the Tijuana Brass. I bought the record, too, and I was older than 12.

I remember reading a book titled "Our Hearts Were Young and Gay", which was a hilarious account of two young American women on a trip to Europe back in the day. If they were gay, they were not openly gay. Only their hearts were gay.

One of the things that I discovered I could do, as a small child, to entertain grownups, was to do "The Lonely Bull" with my lips making trumpet noises, and do "Casino Royale" in chicken clucks. I bet Gallino Mescalito could do that!
