¡Feliz Día de Independencia!


Today is Panama's 106th birthday!
Let's see, it's 8:34 am right now and the parades begin at 9:30 am and it is raining really hard right now. Could be a soggy parade today.

Could only recognize a few bits. Of course the last time I was there was 59 years ago and we lived in the Canal Zone at Ft. Gulick and I went to school in Margarita. We visited Old Panama city only once taking a ship through the canal and the train back. Visited the mountains and El Valle on a school trip. I remember loving going to the parardes to celebrate Panamanian independence. Have a wonderful time, rain or no.
