Why Is Everything So Quiet?
There appears to be some sort of Major-Corporate-Franchise Sporting Competition taking place in los Estado Unidos de América right now. I haven't watched this stuff in ages, and have been quite happy.
Real Football
What passes for football en los Estados Unidos de América
I certainly prefer the real football to the American variety, also called "gridiron." I find it the more pleasurable viewing experience. Even the crazy commercials can't get me to watch the Super Bowl, but I plan to watch the World Cup on Univision next year.

You mean the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet?
Yeah, but with your "real football" do you get the great commercials that we get with the Super Bowl in Estados Unidos de America?
What can I say, married to the Rev, I love the game.
Real football and real eating!
Oh, and a really great Springsteen.

As much as I enjoy playing a rowdy game of futbol, there's nothing like a big ol' slice o' frito pie while watching gridiron football.
I loves me some real futbol once in a while. Never watch that other stuff with the weird shoulder pads. Feh.
