Man, that first piece goes on FOREVER!! Yes, that's Sonic Youth doing a song by the Carpenters. This version really brings the creepy-stalker aspect of the song to the front. Speaking of the Carpenters, once when Matty Boy and I were performing as The Wonders of Science at the Keystone in Palo Alto, California, we got booed because Matty offered a special prize to anyone who could name all the literary references in one of our songs. The prize was "A Free Date at Burger King with Karen Carpenter" who had died of anorexia just that week. Well, we thought it was funny. Matty Boy and I used to purchase crappy appliances at Thrift Shops and give them out as prizes during the "Win An Appliance From The Wonders Of Science" dance competition portion of our shows. We guaranteed that the appliance worked when it left the factory, however many years ago that may have been. So, you may not want to win any prizes from our blogs. But I digress.....
Nice appearances from Ameríca Latina with Maná (a great band from Los Estados Unidos de Mexico) and our own Pride of Panamá Samy y Sandra Sandoval. Loves me that Eno song, and ya jest caint go wrong with some Bach, canya?

Padre Mickey, you and your friends had lotsa different names. It wasn't because you were a hop, skip, and jump ahead of the forces of the law, was it?

Ah, creepy stalker songs! Stevie Wonder wrote a song Aretha Franklin recorded entitled Until You Come Back To Me which my sister Jenny calls "That Stalker Song". Really a beautiful melody, much prettier than Superstar or The Police's Every Step You Take, which only adds to the creepi-osity.

As for Grandmere Mimi (if that is in fact her name) making comments about people having aliases, I really don't know what she is talking about, and neither do Leo Fosse, Mink Mexler or BIGDOG. Mr. Sinister and M.G.D. Bach have not been reached for comment as we go to press.

Matty Boy, that is, in fact, my name - to my grandchildren and to my son-and daughter-in-law. I answer to it.

However, it's not how I sign my checks.

I See You!
