We're Here!

We arrived at LAX at 5:20 pm yesterday afternoon. We learned that in order to rent a car, we had to take a bus far away from the airport. Once we got the car, we had to drive to another place to claim Chompita. THEN we learned that she was on another flight and wouldn't be in until 8:00 pm. She finally arrived, and, having cleared Customs in Huston, we were able to reclaim her right away. She was so happy to see us! She rested on the Lovely Mona's lap all the way to Fresno. We arrived at the Lovely Mona's parents house just about midnight. We had been up since 4:30 am Panama time, which means we had been up for 22 hours. We're kinda tired.

I'll check in with stories about Our Amazing Travels, and the Search For Servicarga en Panama later.

LAX is always interesting. Do like their international terminal though. It's quite a drive to Fresno at any hour. Like Mimi I can't wait to hear the rest. Have fun my friend.

Thanks for letting us know you have all safely arrived. Will you have a postal address in case some of us who are getting tax refunds might want to add to your reserves?

What? No emergency Chiliburger (and a Veggie) at the El Rancho Truck Stop in Bakersfield...what kinda San Joaquin reentry is that?

Well, it looks like I won´t drive to Panama until after things have been restored to Spanglish!
