The Academy Awards

The Lovely Mona and I are watching the Academy Awards, and I have one question: 'sup with everybody's hair? Good God, it looks like people haven't even taken the time to brush their hair, let alone get it styled. And WTF is up with John Travolta? It looked like he was wearing some fake rubber haid thang. Sheesh!

Can't help ya, Padre. I didn't watch the Oscars. I was looking at Pride and Prejudice. Brushing one's hair is no longer cool, or hot, or something. I'll have to look for some pictures.

Padrecito, tienes razón. I believe at one point I commented to my friend, "Kill the stylist!" Lord, what are these people thinking?

As for Revolta it might be a side effect of LRonHubbardism, but I betray my prejudice there (or at least one of them).

So, the writer for Juno is a blogger (I read elsewhere) and good for her. But, er, that dress. But let's not get into the fashion atrocities. By and large the gowns seemed more staid and lovely than many we have seen in the past. One does miss Cher, though, for the "OMG, I can't believe she wore that" effect.

Forget the dress, paul, what's up with that tat?

The Revolta hair might have something to do with a current movie production.....

I still love Tom Hanks the best!

Speaking of fashion...how unfortunate that Mrs. Daniel Day Lewis was talked into that dress and the jewellery to go with it! UGH!!!!!

Today is the day to check out the Fug Girls. They will have photos and snarky commentary.

Daniel Day Lewis, though, was way cute. (And I missed Pride and Prejudice as well as more than half the Oscars. Oh well.)

I'm with you on the hair. Oy!

The writer for Juno used to be an exotic dancer. I'm serious.

I See You!
