Thursday, January 15, was the last full day of camp. The theme for the day was Y ahora, ¿Cómo Viviremos? (And now, how do we live?). Our bible studies examined the parable of the Good Samaritan, the story of the Rich Young Man who couldn't sell all he had and give to the poor and then follow Jesus, and the story of the separation of the sheeps and goats on the Day of Judgement. We went to the beach and all that stuff, too. But the most important event of Day 6 is the Party! The kids spend days getting ready for this party, and the Lovely Mona attended and took many photos. "And where," one may ask, "was Padre Mickey during the party?" Well, because he played in very loud rock bands for some fifteen years, Padre is unable to bear loud events, and, having attended these parties in the past, he knew that he would not be able to take the noise, so he stayed in the cabin with Chompy, reading The Enchantress of Florence and snoozing, for he is an Old Person. Photos!
