He and Rosalyn were at the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal with President Martín Torrijos. President Carter said that he would love to visit the Canal again after the new locks and the amplificación takes place.
Vice-President Samuel Lewis Navarro saidtoday that the President of Brasil, Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva, will visit Panamá on the ninth of January, 2007. All the cool guys are coming here! When the Dim Son visited here earlier this year, the entire city was practically on House Arrest. But when the cool guys are here, everything remains normal (or what passes for normal here).

I don't consider our President someone cool... But I agree he is "cooler" than other presidents we had.

I was there in Panama when president Dim Son arrived...I think I already told this story but it's a favorite of mine...two identical Air Force Ones (747's) were on the far tarmac parked...my Copa flight from Puerto Rico required that I change planes for Central America...I had to use one of the gates that goes outside and down to the tarmac...there was a line behind me as we walked along all staring at the two huge planes...the devil made me give them the finger...my fellow passengers screamed and hotted with favor...I felt I'd finally made a social statement against this disgusting president who has harmed our country so badly...it felt good to be bad.
Glad your the Presidential guests have been upgraded since my last visit to Panama!
